In 2012, a group of Ganz’s very first students in Vancouver stepped into the VFX industry with their debut project: Arctic Air, Season 1.
Set in Yellowknife, the series followed the thrilling lives of bush pilots navigating the Canadian North and premiered to 1.05 million viewers, the largest drama series launch for CBC at the time. It wasn’t just a milestone for the network; it was a launching pad for these aspiring VFX artists.
Fast forward a decade, and that same group of students are now senior artists and supervisors in the industry, still shaping the visuals for some of the biggest projects on screens today.
This is what happens when Ganz guides students with passion, skill, and a belief in their potential.
