You're worse than Thanos!
Back in April 2013, I watched the first episode of "Attack on Titan." Who would have thought that 10 years later, I would be discussing it with Ryan. He casually mentioned that he had seen the ending and suggested I should watch it. I am so grateful he didn't share any more details, except for a grin on his face that seemed to say, "Your puny brain is going to explode when you see the last season!"
So, what did I do? Naturally, I rewatched the entire saga over three weeks. The experience was nothing short of incredible. Over the show's lifespan, I saw Andrew graduate from my first-ever compositing program, work in the industry, return as my teaching assistant, and then become a co-instructor for students, including Elmoatasem. Now, both Elmoatasem and Andrew are mentors to Ryan and his classmates. "Attack on Titan" isn't just an anime; it's a chronicle of our personal and professional journeys.
"Attack on Titan" has etched its name in my heart as one of the greatest animes of all time. Its genius lies in the art of storytelling where every moment, no matter how small, unravels as a revelation, masterfully woven into a tapestry of suspense and intrigue.
The battle sequences are a spectacle of animation prowess. Soldiers, equipped with their ODM gear, dance through the air in a ballet of adrenaline and strategy, facing off against Titans in heart-pounding confrontations that are both visually stunning and emotionally charged.
Beyond its surface of action and fantasy, "Attack on Titan" delves into the darker corridors of human society, addressing themes like racism and classism with a raw, unfiltered lens. It portrays a society stratified and manipulated, with people kept in the dark, mirroring some harsh realities of our world.
As for the ending, it's a journey without spoilers here, but expect a culmination that resonates deeply with the show's overarching themes, delivering an impactful conclusion to a narrative replete with twists and turns.
Whether you're a long-time anime aficionado or a newcomer to the genre, "Attack on Titan" is a series that demands your attention. Its blend of intricate storytelling, breathtaking action, and profound social commentary makes it not just an anime but a piece of art that challenges and captivates.
TLDR : Attack on Titan - A God Damn Horrific Masterpiece!
