Day 05 - Shogun - Season 1

Ganz and Asuha are moving to Singapore.
Not to slow down.
To expand.

Asia-Pacific is next and we’re marking it the only way that makes sense:
𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. 𝟯𝟬 𝗩𝗙𝗫 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆.
Some of them even had their composites done by former students of Andrew and Ganz.

Filmed in British Columbia, Canada, including Port Moody, where Alpha Chromatica is based.

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?Though it’s set in feudal Japan, much of Shōgun was built in remote Vancouver locales.
CG extensions created castles, crowded streets, and towering landscapes, all layered over local filming.
What you see onscreen isn’t just production design, it’s Canadian VFX invisible in service of immersion.

Shōgun isn’t just historical drama.It shows us that the most unfamiliar worlds can feel lived‑in and honest, if you build them meticulously, layer by layer.

And many of the artists who built that world?
They once sat where you are now.
Learning to make invisible work that feels authentic.
