Ganz is an incredibly knowledgeable and very hardworking teacher I’ve ever had in my life. I was really impressed by his passion for teaching and visual effects. There is no doubt that joining Lost Boys was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

He is a “Master of Compositing”. His knowledge of digital compositing, visual effects and the film/TV industry is extraordinary. He taught us both basic and advance techniques of compositing and often showed us cool tricks in Nuke that we cannot learn from books.

Ideas and hints he has given me to improve my shots and solve problems were always very helpful and would make my work look nicer and help me develop my creative eye. I never doubted his opinions. His problem-solving skill on VFX and his aesthetic sense are amazing and very inspiring. Without him, I couldn’t have achieved the same quality of work that I have done during the program.
He also knows and taught us how to survive in the industry and make our life as a VFX artist better, which guided me to get ready for working in the industry and would definitely help me have a successful career and achieve my goal in the future.

However, he is not only a knowledgeable and creative instructor, but he is a very dedicated and thoughtful person with a great sense of humour. He always enjoys teaching and tries to entertain us during the lecture, which made me enjoy learning complicated computer software and mathematics.

And he cares about students’ success in the VFX industry more than anything. He’s completely different from ordinary teachers who just teach you during classes and don’t care about students’ career after graduation. He often spent a lot of extra time for us after school, on the weekend and even after I graduated. He always answers my questions no matter how busy he is. What I appreciate him the most is that he cared about me and helped me get a job after graduate. He encouraged me a lot and I am truly grateful for that.

I have learned more than I could ever imagine from him at Lost Boys. He has everything that the greatest teacher should have. And I wish I could be a person like him who has deep knowledge in various fields and a great sense of humor. I believe Ganz is one of the most creative, hardworking and talented VFX instructors in the world. I am truly glad that I met him and learned VFX from him and I believe that the experience and the study at Lost Boys would change my entire life and make my dream come true!!
