Chroma 0237
After two months of coordinating with Canada Computers & Electronics, they finally managed to gather all the parts needed for our render farm.
Although I have extensive experience building computers, I decided not to build this one at home because I have a three-year-old. I really do not want him to be eating tiny screws that I would no doubt put within his arm's reach.
So, I had them build the computer according to my specific requirements. I have to say I am really impressed with the build and their packaging.
Initially, I wanted the computer in a "Be Quiet!" case since I needed it to be silent while I was doing my recordings.
However, due to the components I chose, we had to switch to a larger case.
Additionally, because of the size and placement of this motherboard and GPUs, they were unable to fit my favorite Noctua fans and instead opted for a water-cooling solution.
In the end, I figured that if I’m spending this much money, I might as well show off the setup.
I will be making more posts about this setup, as there isn't much new information available on modern render farms. Stay Tuned.
And that is our Kitty, Leo-Kun.
