If you don't already know, the Rookies is a place where new artists can showcase their talents and get noticed by the world's top studios. Several of my students in the past have gotten their big breaks through the Rookies.

My students have been participating in the Rookies since 2017, which is one of the reasons why my former school was ranked among the top VFX schools in the World. We were widely considered the second-best VFX school in Canada and probably the best departmental training facility in the World for Comp, FX, and Lighting.

This year is extra special. They are doing it under the Alpha Chromatica umbrella.
