My former student Kosuke Iwasaki of Industrial Light & Magic, ReDefine and of Pugman fame (https://lnkd.in/gbkFg-sK) made an Unreal Course for The Gnomon Workshop.
His course covers everything from art theory, the fundamentals of Unreal Engine, best practices when it comes to data management, through to blocking scenes, kitbashing, working with the Material System, working with characters, creating Niagara effects, working with the Sequencer, lighting, and post-processing.
Kosuke messaged me earlier this year asking my opinion on whether he should do these tutorial. After 1 hour of chatting, I sort of said, "Abso Fu*cking lutely!" And I, for one, am so glad and proud he did.
It's so great to see Kosuke sharing his knowledge and insights with the rest of us. I can't wait to get into this tutorial myself and fast track my UE5 education esp after what Erik T. Jensen and Camil Adell Nogués showed me on Thursday.
