Mariana and I have been chatting on Discord even before she graduated from my compositing program at Lost Boys in 2023.

About nine months ago, she sent me this video, and I’ve been holding onto it, waiting for the perfect moment to share it. And now, celebrating her landing a fantastic new gig, there’s no better time!

I’m so proud of her tenacity to keep pushing forward despite all the work visa hurdles she’s faced. Whatever she’s saying in the video, just remember - I’ve got to do it twice as fast now!
