This is the kind of story you don’t hear enough in this industry. Elmoatasem Ragab, Elmo to us, shifted his Thursday evening mentorship slot to a late Friday night session (9pm to 11pm ).
Why?
So one of our students, tuning in from Belgium, could attend and this is the second time he rescheduled his mentorship!
It’s not just about showing up. It’s about showing you care. And that’s rare in a field where schedules are tight, and people are stretched thin.
But Elmo?
He’s the kind of mentor who gets it. He understands that real teaching isn’t about convenience; it’s about commitment.
Most schools talk about mentorship, but it’s mentors like Elmo who live it.
There’s no scripted playbook for this kind of dedication. It’s the kind of care that doesn’t fit into a curriculum but makes all the difference in the world.
These moments that aren’t broadcasted or marketed but they are felt. By students, by peers, and by everyone lucky enough to cross paths with someone who truly gives a damn.
At Alpha Chromatica, we count ourselves lucky to have someone like Elmo, a rare gem in an industry where caring can sometimes feel like a luxury.
Not every mentor would rearrange their life for a student but then again, not every mentor is Elmo.
