Today: Rising Sun Pictures, for their work on Mortal Kombat.

RSP delivered a substantial portion of the film’s visual effects, contributing to some of its most memorable moments. Their work spans character-driven VFX, large-scale environment extensions, and complex FX sequences that merge practical stunts with digital augmentation.

The breakdowns reveal how the team balanced hyper-stylized violence with grounded physicality, ensuring the effects felt weighty and connected to the performers. Creature work, elemental powers, and environment interactions were carefully layered to support the choreography rather than overpower it.
