At YVR, before Asuha, Ganz, and their son boarded their flight, they stopped for one last photo.

It wasn’t just a picture.
It was a goodbye.

Standing with them were some of the oldest friends they made in Canada.

Friends who came for weekend board game nights before kids were even a thought.
Friends who carried each other through the hardest years.
Friends who laughed louder than any VFX shot they ever made.

Most teachers never see this.
Most students never feel this.
Because school usually ends when graduation happens.

But not here.
Not with Ganz.

The bond that outlives the classroom, the years, the moves, the seasons of life.

Not just faces.
But history.
The history of people who came from all over the world to learn and apply their craft in Vancouver's VFX Industry.

And the history of staying together long after the credits rolled.
