A screen is never just a screen.
Not when it’s rebuilt with intention.

In this shot, Hiroka Oizumi from Alpha Chromatica replaced a generic monitor readout with something that carries real narrative weight. a missing screen for Will Byers, the same Will from Stranger Things.

She stripped the plate down and rebuilt every piece:

A new UI designed to feel era-accurate.
A post-it note added to the bezel, carrying a clue.
Monitor glow woven back into the scene.
Chromatic aberration rebuilt.
Reflections restored so the insert sits inside the glass, not on top of it.

Everything contributes to a single idea:
the computer isn’t just displaying information.
It’s part of the story.
