You should have seen Ganz’s face light up when they mentioned Euclidean geometry. Just last week, Ganz did his best to explain Euclidean Distance to his bewildered students who definitely didn’t sign up for a math course, turning their confusion into one of those unforgettable learning moments at Alpha Chromatica Education (ACE).

Watching this process felt like witnessing a dance between creativity and logic. Sony Pictures Imageworks turned math into magic, pulling off a car comp that’s truly seamless.

It’s moments like these that remind us how the fundamentals of geometry - yes, the very stuff we learned in school; are still at the core of visual effects today.
