After teaching 𝟯𝟭 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 (𝟮𝟯𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀), I’m officially announcing my retirement from teaching full-time in 2025. It’s time to step back and make space for a new generation of instructors to take the reins, they are 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗮𝗺.

This doesn’t mean I’m going anywhere. After teaching VFX and compositing to students from six continents continuously for 15 years in Vancouver, I felt it was time to move on to a 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 at Alpha Chromatica. It’s a huge undertaking, and I’ll need to dedicate all my attention to it. 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.
