Here's my donut.

It's the first project most people build in Blender. Shading, lighting, and modeling, all in one scene.

Mine took longer than it should have. I've spent most of my career in 3ds Max and Maya, so Blender's shortcuts don't sit in my hands the same way. I know where things are in the UI. It's how Blender does things compared to other 3D programs that trips me up. Every time I open it, I'm relearning workflows I already knew five years ago.

That's normal. Software fluency is specific to the software. Years in one program don't transfer to another, even when the underlying skills, shading, lighting, topology, are the same.

If you're an artist who feels slow in a new tool despite years of real experience, that's not a gap in your skill.

That's just how software works.
