There is someone in your creative life who keeps doing the thing that drives you up the wall. A collaborator who tunes out your notes. A client who sends files whenever they feel like it. A teammate whose corner of the project gets messier every week. You have raised it politely, then firmly, then flat out, and their behavior stays exactly the same.

Let me save you some wasted energy. That person is not going to become who you want them to be, no matter how reasonable your request is. Wanting it badly has never once been enough.

Chasing that kind of fix quietly wears you down. Most of what happens around you was never yours to steer, and pushing harder on it just tightens the knot. The narrow slice you actually get to decide is your own choices, your own approach, your own next move.

So aim your effort there. Adjust how you work around this person instead of waiting for them to meet you halfway. Funny thing about that shift. Once you stop pulling, people often stop resisting, and the project starts flowing in ways nagging never got you.
