One of the more useful things I've observed in artists who make clean decisions is that they don't wait for perfect information before they move.

They trust that when the right project arrives, they'll recognize it. When a collaboration has run its course, they'll feel it. When it's time to apply, leave, pivot, or stay, something in them knows before they can fully articulate why.

That kind of self-trust doesn't come from confidence in the outcome. It comes from a track record of listening to your own judgment and watching it prove reasonably accurate over time.

The artists who struggle most with decisions are often the ones trying to think their way to certainty rather than trusting what they already sense. No amount of research eliminates the uncertainty that comes with any real choice.

You don't need to know exactly how it unfolds. You need to trust that you'll handle what comes, and move from there.
